Gunnar decided to look in the harbor of the town for information about places where riches of any kind could be expected. Of course there was the palace of the Emir in the center of the town, but this would be heavily protected by the armed palace guard. Gunnar was only one man, depending on his strength, his sword Hevnir (meaning avenger in the tongue of his father) and his sharp mind. His favorite brother Ólafur meanwhile stepped into an abandoned temple, possible built by the Greeks or Phoenicians, centuries before the present inhabitants took over. His eyes somehow were drawn to a large altar stone, which seemed to give access to a secret crypt of some kind.
